Hello, my name is Simon Watts and I am the business owner and Engineer at Watts Refrigeration.
If you haven't already heard of us, we are a small family run business that has been repairing domestic refrigeration for over 65 years. We repair normal household fridges and freezers... and nothing but! More than 75% of our work now comes from recommendation and many old customers have kept our number and called us again and again. Also, more than 50 engineers and retailers around Essex and Suffolk recommend us so you know you're in good hands.
We charge a very competitive fee and we are always upfront about the cost of call out, labour and parts (should you need any). We don't sell appliances and so never try to sell you one.
Also, many companies will now try to sell maintenance contracts and tie-ins. We don't believe in that. We charge you for the work we carry out and only that.

SMALL FRIDGE OR FREEZER
Under counter, free-standing fridges and freezers
(up to 1 meter tall and 60cm wide)

This is your call-out fee and includes
Unlimited Labour
NO SURPRISES - Should you need parts these will be fitted at your discretion and quoted for in advance .
If we need to make a return visit because we do not have the part on board, there is NO ADDITIONAL CALL-OUT CHARGE.
STANDARD FRIDGE OR FREEZER
Taller free-standing appliances
(up to 2.1 meters tall and a maximum of 60cm wide)
excluding wine coolers

SIMPLE CLEAR PRICING - This covers you for the call out fee and up to one hour of labour on the first visit.
Each 30 minutes of time thereafter is charged at £35.
If a return visit is necessary, no call out charge applies but a minimum of £35 is chargeable for the first 30 minutes of labour and then the usual £35 per 30 minutes thereafter.
Parts (should you need any) are fitted at your discretion, charged for separately and will be fully quoted for in advance.
SPECIALIST APPLIANCES
This covers all American style, multi-door, integrated (fitted) fridges and freezers and most domestic wine coolers (ask for details regarding your specific wine cooler).

*Some smaller fridges and freezers may be classed as 'Specialist Appliances' but we will always inform you at the time of booking, based on the information you provide us.
